This morning, we had the pleasure of heading down to the lake to watch our Year 3 pupils take to the water in their kayaks. Despite the wind adding an extra sense of challenge, the children embraced the experience with enthusiasm, determination and plenty of smiles.
Moments like these capture what makes a Windermere School education so distinctive. Learning extends far beyond the classroom, with opportunities to build confidence, resilience and a love of the outdoors in one of the most beautiful settings in the country. Whether calm or windswept, Hodge Howe continues to offer unforgettable experiences for our pupils.
For many of our Stannites, Hodge Howe holds a special place in their memories - from first adventures on the water to shared moments with friends that have lasted a lifetime.
We would love to hear from you. Do you have a favourite memory of Hodge Howe or your time at school? Please do get in touch and share your stories - it’s these connections, past and present, that make our community so unique.
