From the classroom to public exhibition spaces, our young artists are making their mark, with their creativity, dedication and artistic talent being recognised beyond the School. These opportunities provide a wonderful platform for students to share their work with wider audiences and celebrate the passion and commitment they bring to their creative practice.
Members of our Windermere School community are warmly invited to visit the exhibitions and support these talented young creatives:
Brewery Arts, Kendal

Rheged, Penrith
Young Artists – The Arts Society Cumbria
📅 18 July – September
Three Windermere School students have been selected to exhibit their work as part of this celebration of emerging artistic talent.
The Ladyholme Centre, Windermere
Windermere Art Society Exhibition
📅 3–14 August
Thirteen Windermere School students are represented in this local exhibition, providing a fantastic opportunity for their work to be enjoyed by the wider Windermere community.
The opportunity to exhibit publicly is an important part of developing as an artist. It encourages students to have confidence in their own creative voice, reflect on their work and experience the excitement of seeing their ideas brought to life beyond the School environment.
Congratulations to every student whose work has been selected. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and of the creativity, curiosity and commitment they continue to demonstrate.
If you are visiting Cumbria over the summer, we encourage you to take the opportunity to see these exhibitions and support the next generation of creative talent from Windermere School.
